We are “Committed to Excellence”, and we work hard to make the site a primary source for timely information for all users, and a main gateway for improved communication between parents, teachers, students and other members of our community. Our goal and responsibility is to help each student develop an enthusiasm for learning, a respect for self and others, and the skills to become a creative independent thinker and problem solver.

Online Registration Now Available

Parents the online registration is open. Please make sure you register your student online for the 2016-2017 school year. Please bring the confirmation page, a utility bill (gas, water or electric in birth parents name) along with a parent ID to the school when you have completed the process. All incoming 7th graders are required to bring in their shot record along with the confirmation page. If your student attends Brown on a transfer you must complete a transfer request for 2016-2017 school year first on Parent Portal and receive an approval before you can register online. All out of district transfers must be done on paper. You may pick up a copy at the registrar's office or online at episd.org. If you print off the EPISD website make sure you have all three pages of the transfer. If you have any questions, please contact Isabel Gallegos at 915-774-4086. Thank you!

Parents: Looking for ways to get your child to read during the summer? Don't want to hear the dreaded "I am bored on the 2nd day of Summer Vacation". Let Brown's Library help you solve these problems. The Library is Sponsoring a BUY ONE GET ONE FREE book fair. It will be held in the library from Tuesday, May 31st to Thursday, June 2nd. You may come anytime to shop these fabulous deals for summer reading from 7:30-3:30. We will have books for all ages including recipe and adult best sellers. 8th Graders - New Magnet School at Franklin High School

Franklin STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) will be starting the 2016-2017 school year with a cohort of 150 students. The magnet school has four strands: advanced media production, medical law, M.D. physician preceptorship, and an early entrance nursing strand developed with TTUHSC's Gayle Greve Hunt school of nursing which places our graduates at TTUHSC El Paso upon graduation and completing a Bachelor's degree in nursing just 18 months after graduating from high school. All of our programs are heavy in dual credit/advanced placement curricula and have the intent of having college ready, STEAM graduates. As with all magnet programs, it is open enrollment and transportation from their home high school is available.
