Hello! I grew up in the small West Texas town of Marfa, Texas and I have been in the education field since 2002. Prior to that I worked in sales for two Minor League Baseball teams, the Double A Affiliate El Paso Diablos and the Single A Affiliate San Bernadino Stampede. I began my teaching career at my high school alma mater, Marfa High School. In 2004 I decided to move back to El Paso and taught at Chapin High School for four years. In 2008 I became Chapin's Pre-engineering Magnet Coordinator. My career as an assistant principal began in October 2011 at Franklin Ninth Grade Center. While at Franklin I was instrumental in beginning Cougar New Tech. I am now the New Tech Administrator at Brown Middle School and oversee New Tech Leadership Academy at Brown.
I am married to a wonderful husband and we have a beautiful eight year old daughter. I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, watching movies and attending both Franklin and Brown extra-curricular events.
I received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from UTEP and a Master of Education in Administration from Sul Ross State University.
